2002: Started all games except for Causeway Classic... Finished 5th on tackles chart with 50 total (25 solo, 25 assists)... Posted 2.5 tackles for losses of 21 yards, including 2.0 sacks... Picked off passes against Abilene Christian and Central Washington (regular season meeting) for total of 12 yards... Both his first career sack and INT came against ACU's Colby Freeman... Helped preserve win at Western Washington when he forced then recovered a fumble by Steven Nichols on a third-and-long situation in Aggie red zone during fourth quarter.

2001: Played in 13 games, recording 30 total tackles (11 solo, 19 assists)... Also had 2 passes defensed... Credited for career-high 5 tackles twice: at Humboldt (1-4) and in NCAA first-round game against Texas A&M-Kingsville (3-2-5)... Forced a fumble vs. Lumberjacks, stripping RB Willie Newton in fourth quarter, recovered by teammate Michael Peterson.

2000: Appeared in five games... Posted 3 solo tackles and an assist... Went 1-1-2 vs. Southern Utah. 1999: Redshirted.

SEASIDE HS '99: Competed in football, track, baseball, basketball... Earned All-County and All-Mission Trail Athletic League as a senior, leading team to conference title... Had 214 tackles, 8 sacks and 5 INTs during last two seasons... Named all-league and Defensive Player of the Year as a junior... Helped basketball team to 19-4 record and MTAL title as a senior... Was a long jumper for track and field team... Four-year Honor Roll student.
