2005: ALL-GREAT WEST FOOTBALL CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM... Put up career-high tackles numbers and earned league accolades despite missing four games due to injury... Started 6 of 7 outings played... Finished 7th on team with 38 total stops (19 solos, 19 assists), including 1.0 tackles for losses of 3 yards... Also was T3rd on team with 4 pass breakups and posted a fumble recovery (vs. New Hampshire)... Selected as team's Defensive Player of the Week for South Dakota State weekend after missing previous three games... Punished the `Jacks for 11 total tackles (5 solos, 6 assists)... Followed that with 9-tackle (4-5-9) performance at home vs. Southern Utah... Two weeks later, posted 4-4-8 tackles chart with lone TFL against Cal Poly.

2004: Played in all 10 games as a reserve, totalling 14 tackles (7 solos, 7 assists)... Had team-best 3 interceptions for 44 yards and added 1.5 tackles for losses of 3 yards... Ranked 8th in GWFC with 0.30 picks per game... Interceptions came against Western Oregon (8 yds), Southern Utah (5 yds) and Portland State (31 yds)... Named Special Teams Player of the Week after South Dakota State game... Recovered fumble (forced by Luis Amaral) of a Dusty Snyders first-quarter kick return in that season opener... Had 2-1-3 tackles chart in that contest, then posted season-high 2-3-5 game at Weber State a week later... Also returned 2 kickoffs for 26 yards (10-yarder vs. Northern Colorado, 16-yarder vs. North Dakota State).

2003: Appeared in 9 games as a reserve... Listed at No. 2 on depth chart at free safety by season's end... Posted 20 total tackles, including 12 solos and 1.5 for losses of 8 yards... Intercepted passes against Western Oregon (7 yds) and Saint Mary's (1 yd)... His pick vs. Gaels' Cordell Webb came immediately after 7-yard sack in 4th quarter, his first collegiate QB sack... Finished that game with season-best 5 solo tackles... Broke up Blake Mori's pass attempt to Kenan Smith in final seconds of Causeway Classic win. 2002: Redshirted.

SAINT FRANCIS HS '02: Won school's Outstanding Student-Athlete Award as a senior... Earned first-team All-West Catholic Athletic League, All-Mid Peninsula and All-Central Coast Section honorable mention in football... Led team in all-purpose yards... Made All-WCAL first team and All-CCS second team in baseball... Batted .384 with five homers and 13 stolen bases as a senior... Wrestled for one year, capturing WCAL freshman crown at 155 lbs.
