Aggie standouts Julian Bertero and Keleen Culberson showcased their skills for scouts from the NFL and CFL.
2016: ALL-BIG SKY HONORABLE MENTION... Started all 11 games played... Ranked No. 43 in the country in passes defended (1.1)... That figure was the fourth-highest in the Big Sky... Thirty-nine of his 47 tackles were unassisted... Recorded five tackles for loss... Posted one sack, one interception forced and recovered one fumble... Led the team with 11 breakups... A season-high eight tackles took place at Southern Utah (10/8)... Recovered a fumble, which led to an Aggie touchdown, at Wyoming (9/17)... Intercepted a pass and returned it 32 yards, vs. Weber State (9/24)... Broke up a season-high four passes in this year's Causeway Cup rivalry victory against Sacramento State (11/19).
2015: Started the first two games of the year before going down with season-ending injury... Started strong with 10 tackles (8 solo) in those matchups, including six against South Dakota in home opener... Had four solo stops in each game.
2014: Saw action in all 11 games, including five starts... Enjoyed breakout season with team-high 73 tackles, including team-high 47 solo... Also led Aggies with 5 PBUs... Opened year with 20-yard interception in second quarter at Stanford... Had monster game with 13 tackles (10 solo) during Battle for the Golden Horseshoe win at Cal Poly... Total was second-highest on team for a single-game in 2015... Recorded nine tackles at Montana and eight at Northern Colorado in successive weeks prior to his career-best game at Cal Poly... Sacked Northern Arizona QB Jordan Perry for a nine-yard loss late in the third quarter.
2013: On roster but did not play due to injury.
SANTIAGO HS '12: Earned All-League first-team honors in the Big 8 Conference during the 2011 season... Named the Santiago Defensive Player of the Year as a senior... Totaled 69 tackles, five forced fumbles and four interceptions in 2011... Helped lead Santiago to a 7-4 overall record and a 5-2 mark in league play as a senior, as part of the CIF Southern Section.
PERSONAL: Born in Los Angeles, Calif.... Majoring in managerial economics... Parents are Billy and Joyce Culberson... Has two siblings; Darryl Culberson and Josh Reed... Enjoys playing the piano... Hopes to own his own business someday.. Favorite actor is Justin Timberlake... If he had a million dollars, he'd use it to help his grandparents...
