Teresa Gould to assume interim director of athletics duties
Flushman begins is fourth season with UC Davis,overseeing administrative responsibilities for all aspects of the Aggies' growing NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision program. He also handles oversight and administration of all youth sports camps at UC Davis while coordinating event management duties for home athletics events.
Flushman, a 2000 graduate in psychology from UC Davis, was the Director of Olympic Sports at Cal during the 2006-07 academic year after serving as Olympic Sports Operations Assistant since early 2001. As director, he managed day-to-day and long-term operations for 24 men's and women's Olympic sports at Cal while advising and assisting in all aspects of the programs including budgeting, NCAA rules compliance, event management, recruiting and other duties. Flushman held similar duties as an assistant.
Besides majoring in psychology at UC Davis, Flushman earned a minor in human development. He later earned a master's in sports psychology from John F. Kennedy University in 2005.
