Teamed with Pila Fatukala on an eight-yard sack vs. Cal Poly... Credited for one pass defensed... Voted as team?s Defensive Player of the Week against Cal Poly, posting 5 total tackles... Had career-best 8 tackles ? including 5 solo efforts ? in home win vs. Northridge.

2000: Appeared in all 13 games as a reserve... Posted 33 tackles (10 solos, 23 assists)... Had 4 solos vs. West Chester... Assisted on 6 tackles vs. Southern Utah... Finished T2nd on team in sacks with 3.5... Had or shared a sack in each of the first three games.

CAREER POSTSEASON: 3 solos, 4 assists for 7 total... Credited for one sack of 4 yds vs. Chadron.

1999: Played in every game except opener vs. Texas A&M-Commerce... Had 2-1-3 chart vs. Humboldt State to set season-high... Posted one quarterback sack, dropping Rob Chapman for 13 yards in final seconds of win at Southern Utah.

1998: Redshirted.

LINCOLN HS ?98: Twice earned All-San Joaquin Athletic Association as a linebacker... Named all-area as a senior, team MVP as a junior... Senior team reached second round of Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs... Also played basketball for a year.

PERSONAL: Born March 29, 1980 in Stockton, Calif.... Age 22 throughout 2002 season... Dean?s List student, majoring in agricultural systems and environment... Would like to play basketball at UC Davis if he could... Lists Bo Jackson as his sports hero, Martin Luther King, Jr. as non-sports hero.
