2008: ALL-GREAT WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... Won team's T. PALMER MOODY AWARD as outstanding sophomore... Completed 296 of 451 passes for 3,478 yards, 27 touchdowns and 16 interceptions for 143.07 rating in first year as starting QB... Set school records for completions, regular-season attempts and regular-season yards... Ranked 3rd nationally in completions (26.91 per game)... Led conference and ranked 5th in Div. I-FCS with 3,478 yards (316.2 per game)... Also was 1st in conference, 6th in nation at 300.8 total offense per game... Broke 300-yard milestone on six occasions, including five straight down the stretch capped by season-best 434 at San Diego in season finale... Hit 59-yard TD (season long) to Bakari Grant in opening minutes vs. Toreros... Earned GWC Offensive Player of the Week for that performance... Became seventh Aggie and first sophomore to crack 400 in a game... Non-seniors to achieve such a feat were freshman Jim Speck (1973), and juniors Kevin Daft (twice in 1997) and J.T.
