: Captained team to a12-3 overall record and CIF State Division II title as a senior... Played for head coach Kevin Macy... Named to NorCal Top TE Class of 2017, All-San Jose Mercury News second team, Prep2Prep third team that year... Campo previously won back-to-back Div. III crowns... Twice earned All-Diablo Foothill Athletic League honors, first as a defensive lineman (2015) then as a tight end (2016)... Selected as team's Outstanding Two-Way Player as a sophomore... Followed that with Outstanding Defensive Lineman and Defensive MVP awards... Caught 19 passes for 271 yards as a senior, 17-for-180 as a junior... Registered 10 sacks for 98 yards in losses during final two seasons... Also forced three fumbles and had a 7-yard interception as a junior... Earned "Cream of the Crop" and "Quiet Assassin" nods at Cal Camp.

PERSONAL: Born in San Jose, Calif.... Parents are Ray & Nicole Berzins... Gave up every high school spring break to build houses for the Amor Foundation in Tijuana, Mexico... Earned Community Service Awards in 2014 and 2015... Certified in CPR and IED... Coached at Campo's Cougar Camp for past four years.
