UC Davis vs. Southern Oregon

UC Davis football claimed its first win of 2016, defeating Southern Oregon, 52-35, on Sept. 10, 2016, at Aggie Stadium.

2017: Granted a medical hardship waiver for the season... Finished with 107 yards on three receptions... Caught one pass for 26 yards at Portland State (9/16)... Recorded two receptions for 81 yards at Weber State (9/23) the next weekend, which included a career-long 60 yard catch.

2016: Appeared in two games, at Oregon (9/3) and against Southern Oregon (9/10), and finished with 17 receiving yards on three catches... Averaged 5.7 yards per catch... Season-high 15 total receiving yards, and nine-yard reception, took place against the Ducks.

REDLANDS EAST VALLEY HS '16: Amassed nearly 2,000 career receiving yards over three seasons...  Finished with 117 receptions for 1,996 yards and 20 TDs... Enjoyed impressive junior season with 65 catches for 1,270 yards and 16 TDs, which helped the Wildcats finish with a 15-1 record and a victory in the California State Bowl Div. II Championship... Posted four games in 2014 with at least 100 receiving yards, inclduing 141  on five receptions against Rancho Verde HS, and 139 on just three grabs against Lake Elsinore HS... Scored two touchdows in six games throughout his junior season... Earned all-section, All-Citrus Belt League and all-area honors in 2014... Highlighted his senior season with five catches for 102 yards against St. Bonaventure HS... Finished the the year with 27 receptions and 408 yards, scoring four times... Helped the Wildcats win three league titles.

PERSONAL: Born in Portland... Parents are Derrick Butler and Gioronna Vaughn... Honor roll selection throughout his high school career... Sings in his church's choir.
