SCHURR HS '18: Three-star recruit, as ranked by Scout… Earned All-Area Player of the Year, All-Area first team, Almont League Offensive Player of the Year and All-League first team honors as a senior… 2017 Whittier Daily News Player of the Year… With Babb II leading the way, Schurr High School won its first Almont League crown since 2010 and advanced to the CIF quarterfinals in 2017… Finished with 1,393 receiving yards in his final season with the Spartans… Fourteen of his 18 tackles collected as a senior were solo… Finished his junior season with 57 receptions for 1,153 receiving yards, and 13 touchdowns… Also earned San Gabriel Valley All-Area accolades…  Recorded an attention-grabbing 2,526 receiving yards on a combined 141 catches, averaged 17.3 yards per reception and scored 26 touchdowns throughout his final two seasons… Thirty of his 39 total tackles recorded throughout that same timespan were solo… Returned a kickoff for a TD in 2016… Recorded 1,451 all-purpose yards, and averaged 131.0 per game that season.

PERSONAL: His father, Lance Babb Sr., competed for USC’s track and field team and competed in the 1972 Olympics.
