AMERICAN RIVER COLLEGE: First-team All-Nor-Cal League pick as a redshirt freshman... Finished 9-for-13 in field goals, 36-for-42 in PATs for 63 points... Also saw time at quarterback, completing 6 of 7 passes for 51 yards and a TD against CCSF... Helped team to 10-3 record and state championship... Played for head coach Jon Osterhout.


BOISE STATE: Redshirted in 2015.


ROCKLIN HS '15: Twice earned All-Sierra Foothill League first-team honors, first in the ATH category (2013) then as a kicker (2014)... Played for head coach Greg Benzel... Set school records for passing rating, field goals and touchbacks... Voted MVP of Great American Rivalry Series... Hit 6-for-8 in field goals with a long of 45 yards, and compiled 38 touchbacks on kickoffs in 2014... Completed 85 of 137 passes for 1,429 yards and 14 touchdowns in six games that year... Suffered a season-ending thigh injury in October, later discovered to be caused by a non-cancerous tumor in his leg... Became one of the area's most inspirational stories, as he went from a wheelchair to seven weeks in crutches to making an emotional return to the Thunder basketball team... Selected as school's Male Athlete of the Year... Graduated with 4.2 grade-point average, earning National Football Foundation & College Football Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete Award.... Also played for volleyball team as a freshman and a junior.


PERSONAL: Born in Antelope, Calif.... Parents are Michael & Erin O'Rourke... Coached for Rocklin Little Thunder Basketball Camp and Rocklin Jr. Thunder Football... Volunteered over 200 community service hours at RHS.
