2008: Did not play due to injury.

2007: ALL-GREAT WEST CONFERENCE HONORABLE MENTION... Started all 11 games at tight end... Tallied 8 receptions for 145 yards and 2 touchdowns... Average of 18.1 yards per catch led all Aggies, including wideouts... Had 2 catches in consecutive games vs. Southern Utah (12 yds) and South Dakota State (54 yds)... Longest reception was 48-yarder vs. SDSU, helping Aggies escape their own 1-yard line.

2006: Played in all 11 games, starting final eight... Caught 4 passes for 62 yards and a pair of touchdowns... First collegiate reception was 17-yarder from Jon Grant at Montana State... Scored first TD on the next play from 15 yards out... Also scored 9-yard TD against Southern Utah.

2005: Redshirted.

LA HABRA HS '05: Basketball star turned to football as a senior with excellent results... Won All-Freeway League first-team nod as a wide receiver, helping lead team to Southern Section semifinal berth... Caught 28 passes for 580 yards... Selected as Rookie of the Year... Scored three TDs in his football debut... Averaged 15 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in basketball to capture second straight All-Freeway League award... Four-year Scholar-Athlete, graduated with high honors and a citation from the Academy of Engineering and Technology.

PERSONAL: Born in Whittier, Calif.... Majoring in communication... Parents are James & Marla McDonough... James played football at UCLA... Lists Paul Newman as his favorite actor and, appropriately, Cool Hand Luke as his favorite movie.
