Jamie Nelson
	Position: Assistant Coach (def. line, strength) Experience: 5th year

A former player and coach at Valley City State University in North Dakota, Jamie Nelson returns for his fifth year on the Aggie football staff. He coaches the defensive line while also supervising all Aggie football in-season and off-season strength and conditioning needs.

Nelson played two years at Valley City State before transferring to Northern Colorado, where he earned his bachelor's degree in kinesiology in 1997. He then continued on to earn his master's degree in athletic administration at North Dakota State, where he also served as graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach.

After completing his master's work, Nelson returned to Valley City State, where he served as defensive backs coach and head strength coach from 2000 to 2002.
