2005: ALL-GREAT WEST FOOTBALL CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM... Played in 10 games, starting 8 at right end... Recorded 22 total tackles (12 solos, 10 assists), including 3.5 sacks... Finished 3rd on team with 8.5 tackles for losses of 36 yards... Also credited for a pass breakup, forced fumble and fumble recovery... Both the forced fumble and recovery occurred within minutes of each other in Causeway Classic... Picked up Ryan Mole's fumble (forced by Josh Edwards) to end Hornet's red-zone threat in second quarter... On next drive, slammed into Sac State punt returner Nick Miller, jarring ball loose and returning possession to Aggies... Also had 3 solo stops in that game... First career sack was an assist (with Tom Blake) against Stanford's T.C. Ostrander... Had 1.5 sacks for 12 yards vs. Cal Poly... Aggies went 4-0 in games he had a sack: Stanford, North Dakota State, Cal Poly and Northern Colorado... Posted season-best 4 tackles (2-2-4) including 2.5 TFLs during season finale vs. UNC.
