No. 11/14 makes homecoming visit to Aggies Saturday

UC Davis faces its third ranked team of the season and the first of two straight from Montana

2015: Saw action in 10 games with starts at tight end at Hawai'i and Cal Poly... Finished year with 10 catches for 100 yards, including a 15-yard TD reception from QB C.J. Spencer against Cal Poly late in third quarter that brought Aggies to within 41-31... Finished Cal Poly game with four receptions for 70 yards, including a career-best 24-yarder from QB C.J. Spencer in the first quarter.

Appeared in all 11 games as a true freshman... Caught one passes for seven yards... Reception came from QB Ben Scott during Aggies' fourth-quarter rally at Northern Arizona.

BISHOP DIEGO HS '14: Was named All-CIF Southern Section, all-state and all-city for Bishop Diego HS while excelling on both sides of the ball... Added first-team All-Tri-Valley league and all-county honors while being named the TVL's Defensive MVP... Caught 18 passes for 331 yards and three touchdowns including a long of 54 yards... Had 14 receptions for 245 yards and five touchdowns as a junior including a long of 77 yards in the season opener against Santa Maria HS... Posted 60 total tackles, including 32 solo, from his defensive end position during senior season... Also had 14.5 sacks for 86 yards in losses, defended five passes and caused four fumbles... Had 68 total stops as a junior and finished his career with 170 tackles and 28.0 sacks... Received all-league, All-CIF, all-county and all-city honors after his junior year as well... Was a second-team all-league selection as a sophomore... Helped lead BDHS to a 33-6 record during his three varsity seasons and a trio of semifinal berths in the section playoffs... Also playedbaseball for the Cardinals, earning all-league and all-county awards in that sport as well... Received a scholar-athlete award for having a GPA above 4.0.

PERSONAL: Hometown is Santa Barbara, Calif... Environmental policy analysis and planning major... Parents are James Tooley and Dawn Wright... Sports heroes are "people that risk their lives for others' well-being"... Would like someday to own a house in his hometown of Santa Barbara... Would like to have been at the ancient Olympic Games... Best athlete he's faced is Phil Bickford, currently a pitcher at Cal State Fullerton who earned 2014 Big West Freshman Pitcher of the Year honors.
