2002: SECOND TEAM ALL-INDEPENDENT FOOTBALL ALLIANCE... Started all 12 games at Willie linebacker spot... Finished 7th on team tackles chart with 42 total (18 solo, 25 assists)... Also had 9.5 TFLs (7 solo, 5 assists) for 37 yards, including 2.5 sacks for 14 yards... Added 3 pass break-ups and a forced fumble... Scored 2 defensive TDs, both coincidentally for 66 yards... First was an interception of a Mike Baird pass at Western Oregon to open the 4th quarter... Return was longest by any Aggie since DeShá Runnels returned a pick 83 yards in 1998... Second TD came one week later off a fumble in the Causeway Classic... Grabbed loose ball after B.J. Brust sacked QB Ryan Leadingham, reminiscient of his 67-yard return against Bloomsburg two years before.

2001: Appeared in first 9 games before a fractured left leg ended his season... Despite abbreviated season, finished 5th among linebackers with 30 total tackles (19 solo, 11 assists)... Had 5 tackles for losses of 25 yards, including 3.0 sacks for 19 yards... One of five Aggies credited with a forced fumble against Sacramento State... Also recovered a fumble vs. Abilene Christian... Recorded 2 passes defensed... Selected as team's Special Teams Player of the Week in opener at New Mexico Highlands... Posted career-best line of 6-1-7 vs. Western Oregon.

2000: Defensive recipient for team's MIKE WISE AWARD as outstanding freshman... Made his Aggie debut by intercepting a pass and returning it 23 yards for a TD... Finished T10th on tackles chart with 37 tackles (13 solo, 24 assist)... Also had 4 tackles for losses of 30 yards, including 3 sacks... Posted 2 INTs, against New Mexico Highlands (23-yd TD return) and Chadron State (30-yd return)... Scored 2nd TD on a 67-yd fumble return at the end of the third quarter vs. Bloomsburg in the NCAA semifinal.

1999: Redshirted.

MATER DEI HS '99: Named first team All-South Coast League as a junior for national powerhouse... Voted Linebacker of the Year... Team went 26-2 in his two years, won Southern Section D-I championship and was ranked 2nd nationally by USA Today in 1998... Also a standout in golf... Finished 3rd in league as a sophomore and senior, reaching Southern Section tournament both years... Honor Roll student.
