2016: Saw action in nine games, earning six starts in his sophomore season.

Played in all 11 games for Aggies' offensive line... Saw action at guard position.

Redshirted... Shared team's George Belenis Award as oustanding redshirt with teammate DL Anthony Baumgaurt.

Versatile lineman who starred on both offense and defense, earning three varsity letters... Selected to All-CIF Southern Section Southwest Division team and also All-Orange County first team... Was also named to MaxPreps California Div. II All-State first-team defense... Was co-winner of Sunset League's Defensive Lineman of the Year award for the second straight season after collecting 51 tackles, including three sacks... Named all-state and all-county after junior season in which he had 69 total tackles... Played left tackle on offensive line for Newport Harbor HS... Had 29 tackles as a nose guard during his first year of varsity as a sophomore... Helped lead his team to the CIF-SS Southwest Division championship game last December.

PERSONAL: Born in Newport Beach, Calif.... Parents are Steve and Angela Hufford... His sister, Kayla, attends Washington State... Hopes for a career as a physician's assistant... Wishes he could've watched the building of the pyramids... Career highlight was playing in the section finals... Is also an accomplished weightlifter, posting a trio of top-four finishes at national championships.
