2002: Co-winner (with Dusty Apocotos) of team's OUTSTANDING SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER award... Played in all 12 games, filling in once as a starter (Sacramento State) for A.J. Avila... Finished T11th on final tackles chart with 35 total (21 solo, 14 assists)... Posted first career interception in Causeway Classic, picking off Ryan Leadingham's attempt in the Hornets' final drive... Had 4 TFLs for 13 yards, including first career sack in opener... Lone sack came against Grand Valley State, victimizing Curt Anes for 3-yard loss in game's opening series... 2001: Appeared in 8 games as a reserve, recording 7 total tackles (2 solo, 5 assists)... Had line of 2-2-4 in NCAA first-round game at Texas A&M-Kingsville... Broke up one pass, a Nathan Graham attempt to Jake Roberts in home victory vs. Central Washington.
PASO ROBLES '00: Earned All-Los Padres League as a junior and senior... Selected as league's Linebacker of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in 1999... Named All-Southern Section as well... Team posted 25-3 combined record and captured back-to-back section titles during his career... Also a wrestling standout, capturing the league title and advancing to within one match of the CIF state meet as a senior.
