Also had team-best 2 interceptions (45 yards) with 2 pass break-ups... Posted first career INT vs. North Dakota State's Steve Walker... Also had 7 tackles (2-5-7) in that game, helping earn starting nod for remainder of season... Had 22 tackles the rest of the way, including 5 solos vs. Southern Utah and 2-5-7 chart vs. Sacramento State..
2006: Appeared in 7 games as a reserve... Posted 2 tackles (1 solo, 1 assist).
2005: Redshirted... Earned team's Scout Defense Player of the Week award after South Dakota State game.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended and played for three different high schools - John Muir (2001-02), Saint Francis (2002-04) and Charter Oak (2004-05)... Won all-league and all-area honors in each of his final three years... Had 43 tackles with three interceptions as a senior cornerback for Charter Oak, adding four touchdowns at running back... Helped team to Marmonte League title that year... Posted 62 tackles and two picks to go with his 11 rushing TDs at Saint Francis as a junior... Also was league runner-up in 100-meter dash and qualified for Southern Section finals (5th place) in 2003.
