Sullivan begins his second year in an assistant coaching position on the offensive side of the ball with UC Davis after serving as an administrative assistant for the defensive staff in 2007.
Sullivan came to UC Davis following a coaching stop in the AFL and AFL2 from 2001 to 2006. He was the offensive coordinator and Director of Player Personnel for the Kansas City Brigade in 2006 after serving as offensive coordinator for the Nashville Kats the previous season. Sullivan, a quarterback with the Arizona Rattlers of the AFL in 1995, has also been on staffs with the New Orleans VooDoo (2004), Macon Knights (2002-03) and Wichita Stealth (2001).
Sullivan played collegiately at both the University of Texas-El Paso and San Francisco State, later serving as a graduate assistant at UTEP for three seasons. He earned his bachelor's degree in university studies from the University of New Mexico in 1996.
