Top talents from throughout the state, and the Pacific Northwest, are the newest members of the program after committing during early signing period

SOUTHWEST HS '18: With Saikhon leading the way, Southwest won Southern California Division and Imperial Valley League championships… The Eagles also advanced to the CIF state championship game this past season... Enjoyed an outstanding senior year as his team’s running back and member of the defensive backfield… Recorded 1,683 yards on 215 carries… Averaged 7.8 yards per carry and 112.2 rushing yards per game… Ran for 100 or more yards in 10 of his team's 15 games… Twenty-five of his 38 touchdowns were earned on the ground… Caught 37 passes for 713 yards, and caught 10 TDs… Recorded 3,131 all-purpose yards throughout the 2017 season… Thirty-two of his 52 tackles were solo… Intercepted three passes and broke up another six… Returned 10 punts for a total of 368 yards… Ran the ball 184 times as a junior for 1,272 yards… Scored 17 rushing and 10 receiving touchdowns that year… Finished the 2016 season with 2,654 all-purpose yards… Also recorded 44 tackles (31 solo) and four interceptions… Ran for 1,201 yards, on 155 carries, and caught 12 passes for 620 yards as a sophomore… Scored 14 touchdowns (nine rushing and five receiving) and collected 34 tackles (24 solo) that year… Also competed for Southwest’s basketball and track teams… Multiple Athlete of the Week selection by the San Diego Union-Tribune and Imperial Valley Press throughout his high school career.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in agricultural business... One of Karen and Arthur Saikhon’s six children… His older sibling, Taha, played club volleyball at San Diego State; Tessa, Tamari, Tiana and Tahnee are his other sisters…  His mother competed for Cal Baptist’s volleyball and basketball teams… Father played football at Cal Poly Pomona… Raised a pig for nine years, won fourth place at the county fair in showmanship… Enjoys fishing in Alaska with his grandfather, dad and uncle.
