2014: Played in all 11 games, starting five of the final six... Had 22 total tackles, grabbing a season-high five at both Portland State and Montana... Had at least one stop in every game he played... Recorded an 11-yard sack against the Grizzlies... Also had a TFL against Northern Colorado the next week.
2013: Started the season's first two games at defensive end before suffering season-ending injury... Had three tackles against Nevada and one at South Dakota.
2012: Appeared in all 11 games at defensive end, picking 27 tackles (14 solo, 13 assists), good for 11th on the squad... Finished fourth on the Aggies in tackles for losses with 6.5, tallying 25 yards... Had 2.5 sacks for 17 yards... Turned in his best performance against Northern Arizona, tallying six tackles, including three for losses of 14 yards, and one sack of nine yards... His lone interception on the year came against Portland State.
KAISER HS '10: Attended Colony HS for three years before moving to Kaiser HS, where he graduated in 2011... Earned All-Southern Section honors for three straight years, including first-team acclaim as a junior and senior... Also a three-time all-league performer (Sunkist League at Kaiser, Mount Baldy League at Colony)... Posted 81 tackles with 11.5 sacks in 2010 after combining for 83 stops and 12 sacks in his two previous years combined... Helped Kaiser finish with 12-1 record and CIF-SS semifinal berth as a senior.
PERSONAL: Born in Fontana, Calif.... Majoring in managerial economics... Parents are Walter Earnest, Jr. and Chawnetta Lacy... Hopes to have a Ph.D. degree by the time he's 30.
