2012:Started all 11 games... Set a career-high in pass attempts (361) and completions (207)... Finished with 2,405 yards on the season, averaging 219 yards per game... Had a 117.43 passing rating... Earned Big Sky Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors after throwing for a season-best 309 yards and three touchdowns in a 52-45 win over Idaho State... Threw for 289 yards at Eastern Washington, including a season-best 72-yard touchdown to Corey Galindo early in the second quarter... Also found Galindo for an early 67-yard touchdown against Cal Poly... Tossed for 278 yards at Cal Poly, 269 yards against Portland State, and had 242 in shootout versus Montana State...
2011: Played in all 11 games, serving as the starting quarterback in 10 contests... Completed 188 of 336 passes for 2,250 yards, 14 touchdowns and just six interceptions... Averaged over 200 yards per game with a 122.4 passing rating... Earned Great West Offensive Player of the Week honors on multiple occasions, following wins over UTSA and Cal Poly... Managed a career high 320 passing yards and three touchdowns vs. UTSA, finding eight difference receivers while completing 18 of 30 attempts... Had his most efficient game of the season vs. Cal Poly, completing 14 of 20 passes for 203 yards and a touchdown... Tossed three touchdowns and completed 22 of 35 passes for 278 yards vs. San Diego, playing only in the second half.
2010: ALL-GREAT WEST CONFERENCE HONORABLE MENTION... Started all 11 games at quarterback, becoming the first freshman (redshirt or true) to start at that position since Ryan Flanigan started the 2000 opener... Completed 205 of 348 passes for 2,432 yards, 17 touchdowns and just 8 interceptions... Finished with 129.13 passing rating... Rolled up season-best 302 passing yards vs. Cal Poly to earn GWC Offensive Player of the Week honors... Added a second such award a week later,- completing 12 of 19 with 133 yards and 2 TDs in inclement weather vs. Sacramento State... Arguably enjoyed his best game vs. North Dakota: 19-for-28, 286 yards and 4 TDs for rating of 193.66... Fired season-long 50-yarder to Nick Aprile vs. Portland State, then matched it with a 3rd-quarter TD to Sean Creadick at NDSU.
2009: Redshirted... Co-winner of team's Scout Offense Player of the Week award after North Dakota game.
CARDINAL NEWMAN HS '09: Captured all-state honors and was named All-North Bay League Co-MVP after leading team to California Div. III Bowl Championship game... Threw for 2,702 yards and 30 touchdowns against just three picks... Completed 69.7 percent of his 261 passing attempts... Also ran for 368 yards and 8 scores as a senior... Helped team to 11-2-1 mark and North Coast Section title as a junior... Also picked up second-team All-NBL distinction in basketball.
PERSONAL: Born in Santa Rosa, Calif.... Majoring in communication... Parents are Lance & Rhonda Wright... Older brother, Kyle, played for UTEP... Two places he'd like to visit: the Moon and Alaska.
