DAVIS, Calif. - Denis Hallin, who brings extensive administrative experience from a 13-year association with the UC Berkeley Athletics Department, has been announced by new Aggie coach Ron Gould as the director of football operations at UC Davis.
Hallin will oversee the day-to-day operations of the UC Davis football program including travel arrangements, operational and fundraising budgeting, and will assist in all aspects of football recruiting.
Prior to arriving at UC Davis, Hallin was an administrative assistant with the Cal football program from 2004-12. In that role he also focused on advance travel arrangements and all areas of the operations for the Bears. Hallin was a part of seven bowl teams while at Cal which included the 2006 Cal team that shared the then Pac-10 championship.
Hallin began his career in Cal's athletics business office in 2000 after graduating from UC Santa Barbara that same year with his bachelor's degree in sociology. Hallin is married to wife, Keri, and is a native of Oakland, Calif.
