DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis announced Friday that two more outstandings student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to play football for the Aggies beginning this fall, bringing to 14 the total student-athletes added to the program since the beginning of the signing period on Wednesday.
Twelve of the student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent while two others signed athletics aid agreements. Defensive backs Willie Smith from Banning High School in Banning, and Kymm Snowden from Charter Oak High School in Covina, were announced on Friday.
UC Davis, in the second year of a four-year reclassification from NCAA Divison II to Division I-AA status, finished 6-4 overall in 2004 and in second-place in the first-year Great West Football Conference. The Aggies opened the season unbeaten through their first five games, peaking at No.21 in the Div. I-AA national polls.
Additionally, head coach Bob Biggs earned distinction by winning his 100th career game on Oct. 2 when UC Davis beat Northern Colorado.
Any further signings will be announced as they are received during the signing period.

Recruited as a defensive back but rushed for 2,193 yards and 24 touchdowns, averaging more 9.1 yards per carry for Banning High School this past season... His rushing ranked 12th according to the Los Angeles Times among Southland rushers... Named All-CIF, All-DeAnza League and league MVP... Named first-team All-DeAnza League in 2003 as well and was a second-team honoree as a sophomore... All-conference selection... A member of Banning's 4x100 relay team that was a section finalist in 2002... Also all-league in track and field... Besides 100, also competed in long jump and triple jump... Member of basketball squad that earned berth in section semifinals last year.
KYMM SNOWDEN (5-11, 200, DB, Pasadena, Calif./Charter Oak HS)
Helped lead team to Miramonte League title last season.. Had 54 tackles, an interception and scored two touchdowns at Charter Oak in 2004... Was a running back and cornerback... Was a first-team all-league selection as a junior and a second-team honoree as a sophomore while playing at St. Francis HS in La Canada those two seasons... Earned honor roll honors all four years of high school and was a Golden State Academic Award winner... Posted 48 tackles, two interceptions and a TD in 2002, and then followed with 67 tackles, an interception and eight touchdowns in 2003... Ran a 10.6 in the 100 during last track season... Ran the 100 and 4x100 in 2003.
