DAVIS, Calif. - Nonconference games in September against Northern Arizona and the University of Nevada have switched dates on the UC Davis football schedule, it was announced on Wednesday by Director of Athletics Terry Tumey.
UC Davis will now face Nevada on Sept. 7 in Reno before hosting Northern Arizona on Sept. 14 in the first of three consecutive games at Aggie Stadium.
NAU was originally scheduled for Sept. 7 and Nevada for Sept. 14, but were switched to accomodate the Wolf Pack's game at Florida State which was moved to Sept. 14 from its original date of Sept. 21.
The Aggies will open the season on Aug. 31 at South Dakota, then travel to Nevada before facing Northern Arizona, Portland State (Sept. 21) and Idaho State (Sept. 28). Games against Montana (Oct. 12), Cal Poly (Nov. 2) and North Dakota (Nov. 16) round out the home schedule for UC Davis while matchups at Southern Utah (Oct. 5), Northern Colorado (Oct. 19), Montana State (Oct. 26) and Sacramento State (Nov. 23) complete the road slate.
