DAVIS, Calif. - A comprehensive survey from a partnership between UC Davis Athletics and the UC Davis Graduate School of Management in December is providing valuable feedback from Aggie football fans as gameday preparations for the 2014 season begin.
More than 350 responses from a survey group comprised of ticket-holders during the 2013 season were received. Questions covered ticket-purchasing experiences; pregame transportation, parking and tailgating; communication, and gameday experiences with Aggie Stadium and its amenities.
"Our fans are our biggest stakeholders and we value their feedback in helping tell us what they enjoy about attending UC Davis football games and what we can improve on," said Terry Tumey, Director of Athletics. "The feedback has provided us with direct communication and is very helpful as we begin to get ready for the exciting 2014 season."
The survey was initially distributed on Dec. 11 with a follow-up reminder prior to the survey's close on Dec. 20. Approximately 90 percent of the respondents were either single-game or season-ticket holders while the remaining purchased mini-packs, group tickets or received complimentary admissions or their tickets as gifts. Two-thirds were donors to UC Davis Athletics.
Survey input will be noted in upcoming announcements regarding gameday features for Aggie Stadium.
