DAVIS, Calif. – Five exciting football games at Aggie Stadium, including the first year in the Big Sky Conference and the 59th annual Causeway Classic against Sacramento State, highlight the season and group ticket packages now on sale for the 2012 UC Davis football season.
The home season kicks off with a special Thursday night matchup against Azusa Pacific featuring a Salute to Heroes game (Aug. 30) followed by Weber State (Sept. 29) for the 3rd annual Oktoberfest event, Montana State (Oct. 6) visits for Homecoming, Portland State (Oct. 27) comes in for Parents’ and Family Weekend and finishing with Sacramento State (Nov. 17) for the Causeway Classic and Senior Day.
Season ticket prices begin at just $55 for admission in the Family End Zone section. Reserved section seating for UC Davis faculty, staff, retirees, CAAA members, youth (17 and under) and fans over 65 are $80, and all others are $90. All seats are located on the west side (press box side) of the stadium. Premium Reserved seating in Sections 120-124 is available for $105 while prices for box seat holders are also $105. Both areas require a qualifying 2012-2013 TeamAGGIE Athletics Fund donation which begins at $300. Reserved and general admission parking is included for TeamAGGIE Athletics Fund donations at the $600 level and above.
Group tickets of 20 or more are available for sale for single-game purchase. Ticket prices range from $10 to $20 depending on the game and desired seating section. The east side of Aggie Stadium is reserved primarily for UC Davis undergraduate students who are admitted free with student identification. Sections 103 and 108, located on the northeast side are reserved for Young Alumni (2002-2012 graduates) at only $80 for the season. Sections 101 and 102 are general admission (except for the game against Sacramento State) and Section 109 is reserved for visiting fans. Single-game tickets will be available for purchase this summer.
Tailgating, which was initiated prior to the 2010 season will expand for this coming season. Pregame activities, vendors and beer and wine sales will highlight the festivities. Season and individual game parking passes will be available online in May. Premium UC Davis section tickets for an away game against San Jose State on Sept. 8 are also available.
