DAVIS, Calif. - What is Aggie Pride?
Aggie Pride means something different to everyone associated with UC Davis Athletics. Through the years it's been used as a rallying point for Aggie teams to help give them motivation, perspective and a true sense of what the athletics program is all about.
Earlier this spring, former UC Davis football coaches Jim Sochor, Bob Foster and Bob Biggs - whose combined tenure turned the Aggies into a NCAA Div. II powerhouse and a formidable foe at Div. I - joined current head coach Ron Gould to talk about Aggie Pride.
They met at the Bruce Edwards Club Room at Aggie Stadium, reliving memories and providing their thoughts on Aggie Pride. Most importantly, they talked about how it began and through all four of them, continues even stronger today.
Enjoy the thoughts of these four outstanding coaches in the first of a series of videos that will be released over the coming weeks.
