OGDEN, Utah - Offensive lineman Christian Schneider was named UC Davis’ Scholar-Athlete Award recipient when Big Sky officials announced their conference-wide selections for the 2016-17 academic year.
This is the latest league accolade collected by the Glendora, Calif., native this season as he also earned All-Big Sky and Big Sky All-Academic Team honors when the conference unveiled its list of recipients earlier this season.

Schneider, was a mainstay on the offensive line throughout his four seasons as an Aggie, and started 40 of 41 games throughout his career — including all 12 played as a true freshman.
