DAVIS, Calif. - Fans will be able to get a sneak peek of the UC Davis football team on Saturday morning when the team hosts Aggie Football Fan Fest after the team's football practice, which is open to the public at Aggie Stadium.
Practice runs from 10:15 a.m. until 12:20 p.m. and will allow fans the opportunity to watch the Aggies' final preparations before they start getting ready for their opener on Aug. 31 at the University of South Dakota. Following practice, fans will be invited onto the field to meet the players and coaches, receive autographs and participate in fun and interactive drills with the team.
Admission and parking are free and fans are encouraged to use Lot 56 which is on the south end of the stadium (adjacent to the stadium scoreboard). The Aggie Pride Outlet will have special gear on sale during the event and UC Davis Athletics tickets staff will be available to answer questions about tickets for the upcoming season.
The concession stands will not be open but spectators will be allowed to bring in food and non-alcoholic beverages.
UC Davis is getting set for the first season under head coach Ron Gould. The Aggies will open the season at South Dakota and then the University of Nevada (Sept. 7) before making their home debut on Sept. 14 versus Northern Arizona.
