This Saturday, September 22, two major campus events with the potential for heavy roadway congestion will occur on campus. Beginning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, the UC Davis Housing Office will open the Segundo, Tercero, and Cuarto housing areas for freshmen move-in and beginning later in the morning, traffic around Aggie Stadium will increase in advance of the 1:30 kickoff for the football game.

For housing move-in, traffic throughout campus is traditionally heavy with many families arriving to Davis for the first time and needing to drive to their assigned dormitory, run errands, and drive around campus to become familiar with their new surroundings. Football traffic was uneventful for the first game on September 1 but the combined traffic from these two events could result in traffic delays particularly on La Rue Road, Hutchison Drive, in the Health Sciences District and near the Tercero housing area.
