National Signing Day is Wednesday, Feb. 1, and for the first time UC Davis Athletics will provide coverage throughout the day, updating fans as student-athletes sign their commitments to the Aggie football team.

As National Letters of Intent are faxed and approved by UC Davis Athletics, live updates will be posted to the official UC Davis Facebook Page, UC Davis Twitter Page and ucdavisaggies.com.

Per NCAA rules, the UC Davis Department of Athletics will announce a signee when the program has received and UC Davis Athletics Compliance has verified the signee's National Letter of Intent.

Once all NLIs are received, the UC Davis football team will host its annual National Signing Day Party in the Bruce Edwards Club Room, as the Aggie football program announces its 2012 signing class.

Head coach Bob Biggs and staff welcome members of the community and the media to the event, starting at 5:00 p.m. Following a brief social there will be an overview of this season's incoming players and a highlight video of the recruiting class.
