Strongest performance of the year came at the Big West Championships where he tied for sixth place with a season-low 2-under 214... Opened with a 74 but finished with back-to-back 70s in the second and third rounds to help lead UC Davis to its second consecutive conference title... Came in fourth overall at the Winchester Classic after closing with a season-low round of 68 to finish at 2-over 218... Also carded a 68 in final round at the NCAA Regionals at Stanford to finish at 12-over 222 and tie for 66th... Made collegiate debut at Alister MacKenzie Invitational and shot 9-over for the tournament which was highlighted by first and second round scores of 72 and 71, respectively. DANA HILLS HS '10: Concluded his prep career with conference MVP honors after leading team to South Coast Conference title... Also selected as team's Most Valuable Player... Received Rookie of the Year honors in his debut season with Dana Hills HS. PERSONAL: Born in Newport Beach... Parents are Thomas and Giselle Brockington... Has two brothers, Tyler and Graham... Graham plays golf at Stanford... Economics major... Once shot seven birdies in one round which he lists as his greatest personal accomplishment. |
