Fall 2007: Qualified for match play at 107th U.S. Amateur Championship at the Olympic Club in late August, just prior to fall season... Was the first Aggie to ever advance to match play... Rallied late against Kyle Dickey, coming back from two-hole deficit, was lost 1-up... Earned spot in match play after 6-over during stroke competition... Competed in all five tournaments during the fall, averaging 73.1 strokes over 14 rounds... Had a pair of top-10 finishes: was 5th (1 over par) at Husky Invitational and 6th (4 over) at season-opening Kansas Invitational... Carded a pair of rounds in the 60s... The first was a 3-under 68 in the Alister MacKenzie Invitational's second round while the second was a 3-under 69 in the opening round at the Stockton Sports Commission/Pacific Invitational... Finished latter event at 2-under 214, tying for 31st.
