SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- UC Davis junior Louie Bishop was just one of nine players to break par during Monday's first 36 holes of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic and is currently tied for fourth place at 2-under 138 - just one shot out of the lead - heading into Tuesday's final round at the par 70, 7,133-yard event being played at Talking Stick North Course.

Bishop, who shot rounds of 3-under 67 and 1-over 71 during the first two rounds, led the UC Davis men's golf team to a 13th-place showing on Monday. UC Davis fired team scores of 7-over 287 in the morning round before carding a collective score of 289 in the afternoon for a 576 total.

Bishop's 67 is a season-low score and marked the third time during the 2005-06 season he has broke 70.
