AUBURN, Wash. -- Senior Louie Bishop carded an even-par 72 during Tuesday's final round to finish third in the individual standings while the UC Davis men's golf team placed third on the team leaderboard at the Opus NW Husky Invitational, played at the 7,304-yard Washington National Golf Club.

The Aggies also received another top finish from sophomore Nate Pistacchio, who fired a 1-over 73 on Tuesday to finish in a tie for a career-best 11th.

The Aggies had a final-round team score of 4-over 292, taking third at the tournament at 12-over 876. UC Davis edged fourth-place Cal by a stroke with Washington State rounding out the top five at 17-over 881.

The Huskies' John Wise, playing as an independent, took home medalist honors after his 71 on Tuesday delivered him a one-shot victory over first-day leader Lucas Lee of UCLA. Wise finished at 7-under 209 while Lee had a 74 to take second at 210. Bishop, who opened with a 68 in Monday's first round, completed his tournament with a 72, tying for third with Alex Prugh of Washington at 5-under 211.

Bishop has been the Aggies' top finisher in each of their first two tournaments after placing sixth at last week's Kansas Invitational.

UC Davis received a strong performance from Pistacchio who also broke par for the Washington tournament, carding a 73 on Tuesday to tie for 11th with three other players at 1-under 215. His previous best showing was a 26th-place performance at last week's event in Kansas.
