A dream for the UC Davis men's and women's golf programs is becoming a reality at El Macero Country Club with the construction of the Aggie Short-Game Practice Facility. The estimated $250,000 facility is a public-private partnership between UC Davis Athletics, El Macero Country Club and Troon Golf. The Aggie Short-Game Practice Facility will be one of the finest of its kind among college golf programs on the west cost. Concept drawings showcase a facility with many outstanding features, including.

• Two challenging putting greens that'll replicate many of the putts faced by Aggie golfers throughout the season.
• Chipping, putting and bunker areas that will incorporate every type of short-game shot.
• A wedge range with feed-back targets for longer wedge distances

Nestled in the midst of beautiful El Macero Country Club, the Aggie Short-Game Practice Facility promises to give the UC Davis men's and women's golf programs another key piece in their goals of making the Aggies one of the premier collegiate golf programs in the country.
