LA QUINTA, Calif. - Due to high winds gusting at up to 40 miles per hour, Monday's first round of the 18th Prestige at PGA WEST has been postponed to Tuesday.

The 15-team field will play a single roun of 18 on that day, then conclude the tournament with an 18-hole final round on Wednesday, shortening the overall event to just two rounds. Co-hosted by Stanford and UC Davis, the Prestige at PGA WEST features four teams ranked among Golfweek's Top 20 and nine individual players ranked in that outlet's top 50.

All 36 holes are contested on resort's Greg Norman Course, with an awards luncheon concluding the festivities on Wednesday.
