IRVINE, Calif. - UC Davis' Tyler Raber received his second career All-Big West first-team award while Matt Hansen, Jonny Baxter and Matt Seramin also received all-league distinction in the Big West men's golf postseason honors announced on Wednesday.

Hansen was voted by the conference's head coaches to the All-Big West second team for the second straight year while Baxter and Seramin were honorable mention selections.

Raber, a senior from El Macero who will participate as an individual in the NCAA West Regional next week at Pullman, Wash., earned his first-team award after leading the Aggies with a 72.3 scoring average and posting 15 rounds at par or better. He highlighted his year with a trio of top-10 finishes including a fourth-place at Stanford's U.S. Intercollegiate, a sixth-place showing at the Winchester Classic, and a tie for seventh at the SCVB Pacific Invitational.

Raber redshirted during the 2011-12 season but was named to the Big West's first team during his junior season in 2010-11. He was named honorable mention the previous year.

Hansen, a junior from Los Osos, Calif., enjoyed another outstanding season for the Aggies, capping his season with a tie for fifth place at last week's Big West Championships in Soboba Springs, Calif. His 73.1 average ranked second on the team. He posted three rounds below 70 and picked up another top-10 showing with his tie for eighth at Northwestern's Windon Memorial Classic.

It's the third time Hansen's been recognized by the Big West. He was the Big West Freshman of the Year in 2011 while also earning PING All-America honorable mention after winning the NCAA Southwest Regional.

Baxter, a junior from Pleasanton, Calif., earned his first conference honor, averaging 73.6 strokes during a season that featured three top-15 finishes in the Aggies' last three tournaments of the year. He tied for eighth at the Winchester Classic, tied for 11th at the powerful ASU Thunderbird Invitational and tied for 13th at the Big West Championships.

Seramin, a junior from San Geronimo, Calif., received honorable mention for the second straight year, highlighting this season with a tie for 14th at the SCVB Pacific Invitational in Stockton during the fall. He was just 2 over at Stanford's U.S. Intercollegiate, capping the tournament with a 2-under 69. He shot five rounds below 70 during the year.

Glen Scher of UC Santa Barbara was named the Big West Men's Golfer of the Year, Long Beach State's Daniel Chian was selected freshman of the year, and Cal State Fullerton's Jason Drotter was voted coach of the year.

Raber will look to qualify for the NCAA Finals when he begins play on May 16-18 at Palouse Ridge Golf Club. The regional is being hosted by Washington State.
