2004: Started all 16 games played... Took 3 shots with no goals... Had one assist, setting up Nicholas Lind for lone goal in opener with USF (9/2).

2003: Started 14 of 16 games played... Finished year with a goal and assist for 3 total points... Attempted 12 shots... Both scoring plays came in 3-1 win at Cal State L.A. (10/17)... Recorded first career assist to Ryan Shaw in 25th minute, then converted pass from Ben Swatez in 42nd.

2002: Appeared in 15 games, all as a reserve... Scored 2 goals on 6 shots for 4 total points... First career goal came in 86th minute at Cal State Stanislaus (9/20), forcing overtime in an eventual Aggie 2-1 win.

SAN RAMON VALLEY HS '02: Twice received All-East Bay Athletic League honors and named team captain both junior and senior years... Led team to EBAL and North Coast Section titles as a senior... Scholar-athlete all four years... Played club ball for Tri Valley United.

PERSONAL: Born in Castro Valley, Calif... Economics major... Parents are David & Janice Hammond... Standing 6-foot-3, is Aggies' tallest field player... Younger brother, Greg, is a two-year UC Davis veteran who is redshirting the 2006 season.
