2007: Appeared in 7 games, including one start... Took one shot for the year, scoring the game-winner in team's 3-2 upset of No. 19 Cal Poly (11/10)... That goal earned Big West Conference Player of the Week honors (11/12), plus a nod on Soccer America National Team of the Week (11/13)... Finished season with 1.000% shooting average.
2006: Played in 7 games, starting 5... Had an assist and took 3 shots before suffering season-ending injury... Lone assist was to Nicholas Lind vs. Valparaiso (9/2).
2005: Started all 19 games (only freshman to do so)... Finished 2nd on team with 7 points, tallying 2 goals and 3 assists... Also had 16 shots... Only Aggie to fire a penalty kick... Hit successful PK in 100th minute to beat UC Riverside (10/8) after Quincy Amarikwa was fouled hard by Jordan King in box... Had scored first collegiate goal vs. Highlanders two weeks earlier (9/25)... First assist was in 1-0 win over Stanford (9/4), sending long serve to Dan Campbell in 16th minute.
HART HS '05: Led team to back-to-back Foothill League titles... Had 7 goals, 18 assists as a senior; 10 goals and 15 assists as a junior... Broke four school records... Played club ball for nationally ranked Southern California United, which won national title and No. 1 ranking in 2003... Also played for state and Region IV ODP teams and was a member of the U-16 national team... Won three straight league titles in the premier Coast Soccer League from 2003-05... Represented Cal-South ODP programs from 2000-05 and won national titles with Boys '87's in 2003... Participated in the International Academy's soccer training course with Chelsea Football Club in England in 2002... Selected to participate at the 2004 Adidas Elite Soccer Program in Windsor, Conn.
PERSONAL: Born in Arcelia, Geurrero (Mexico)... Majoring in architecture and construction management... Parents are Juan & Veronica Hernandez... Proudest personal accomplishment was playing for the U.S. U-16 national team (2002-03)... Serves as vocalist and bassist for his band, Taken Identity.
