Recorded first career assist in 1-0 double overtime victory over Oregon State on Sept. 9... Took 3 shots at UC Riverside on Nov. 5... Clocked over 1,400 minutes on the field, recording more than 90 minutes of playing time on six different occasions... Named to CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-America third team after receiving his second career All-District VIII selection... Earned selection to Big West Conference All-Academic Team for third straight year... Played club ball for Boca Juniors Academy. PERSONAL: Born in Castro Valley, Calif.... Majoring in neurobiology, physiology and behavior... Parents are Shahwali & Mina Chopan... Has one sister (Hawa) and two cousins (Masoud Chopan, Edreece Arghandiwal) all at UC Davis.
