11/01/2011 Big West Title in Sight for Men's SoccerWins on Wednesday and Saturday would result in Aggies' first-ever Big West title 11/02/2011 How well does men's soccer know its Matts?2010: Did not play. 2009: Made 5 appearances in goal, including starts in the final two games of the season (10/31 and 11/7)... Recorded 8 saves in over 260 minutes of action... First career shutout came in 2-0 win against Cal Poly (10/31). 2008: Redshirted. CUPERTINO HS '08: Selected as Santa Clara Valley Athletic League Goalkeeper of the Year in 2005, then earned first-team All-SCVAL honors as a senior defender/keeper... Posted 111 saves against 15 goals in 960 minutes in 2007... Also totalled 4 shutouts. PERSONAL: Born in San Jose, Calif.... Majoring in political science and economics... Parents are Marcel & Martha Provencher... Sports hero is fellow goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel... Plays guitar and piano.
