UNIVERSITY OF LUND (SWEDEN): Attended from 2001-02, including both summers... Did not play soccer.

2000: Appeared in 13 games as a reserve, recording a goal and 2 assists for 4 total points... Took 11 shots... Lone goal came at San Bernardino (10/8)... Had 2 back-to-back assists (to Matt DeJong and Tommy Jarvis), sealing 8-2 win over Cal State L.A. (10/14).

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Attended three high schools in four years... Played for former Aggie assistant Eric Mild at Arcata HS as a freshman and sophomore... Spent junior year at Bromma Gymnasium in Sweden, playing for D-I farm team affiliate for a professional club... Returned to Ashland HS, where he graduated in 1999... Earned All-Southern Oregon honors as a senior, leading league in scoring.

PERSONAL: Born June 26, 1981 in Fortuna, Calif.... Has not declared a major, but on fine arts track... Son of Jennifer Swatez... Says his finest personal accomplishment was finding his inner peace... Has literally visited half of the globe: spent most of 2002-03 academic year traveling around Central America.
