Jesse Swonetz begins his first season as an assistant coach after spending the previous four years as a member of the Aggie soccer team. Swonetz will assist the coaching staff in all facets of the program.
During his four years in an Aggie uniform, Swonetz scored a total of 18 goals while assisting on six others. During the 2002 season he scored seven goals, including two in his final collegiate game, a 4-0 victory over rival Chico State. As a junior he scored a pair of goals along with an assist in the Aggies' 5-0 win over Cal State Stanislaus.
Swonetz graduated from UC Davis earlier this year with a degree in human development. He is currently working toward his teaching credential and master's degree in education from National University.
