• The UC Davis men's soccer team continues a four-game road trip in Colorado and look to keep their two-game unbeaten streak alive against Air Force and Denver.
• The Aggies and the Falcons face off on Friday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. (PT) at Cadet Soccer Stadium.
• UC Davis will then take on Denver on Sunday, Sept. 2 at 12 p.m. (PT).

• Friday's game marks the 2012 home opener for Air Force after the Falcons dropped their season opener to Army by a 3-0 margin at West Point.
• Head coach Doug Hill begins his sixth season and led the Falcons to a 12-6-2 record in 2011... It was the team's first winning season since 2003... Air Force was picked to finish third in the MPSF.
• Air Force returns nine starters and 19 total letterwinners from the 2011 squad including All-Far West Region selection and senior team captain Kevin Durr.
• Durr led the squad with 22 points on six goals and 10 assists in 2011... His 10 assists ranked him seventh nationally.
• Goalkeeper Matt Underwood earned all-conference honorable mention accolades for the second straight season and posted a 0.97 goals against average in 2011.

• Friday's game marks the third meeting between the two teams... In records dating back to the 1990 season, UC Davis is 1-0-1 all time against Air Force.
• The teams last met on Sept. 27, 2008 in Davis with the Aggies claiming a 4-1 win.
• The lone other meeting took place at Air Force on Sept. 16, 2005 with the teams finishing in a 1-1 double overtime draw.

• Denver opens its 2012 home schedule this weekend as well, hosting Drexel on Friday before Sunday's matchup with UC Davis.
• Most recently, Denver came within four seconds of tying No. 5 UNC Charlotte over the weekend, but the 49ers scored in double overtime to win the game.
• The Pioneers finished last season with a 5-11-3 overall record and returns senior Drew Beckie who was an All-MPSF first team selection.
• Senior midfielder Mark Weigand was an all-conference honorable mention while sophomore goalie Oliver Brown recorded two shutouts as a freshman in 2011.
• The 2012 recruiting class was ranked ninth in the nation by College Soccer News.
• Head coach Bobby Muuss is in his sixth season at DU and has led the Pioneers to two MPSF regular season titles in his tenure.

• Since the 1990 season, UC Davis and Denver have met on three different occasions with the Aggies owning a 2-1 record against the Pioneers.
• The teams last met on Nov. 22, 2008 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament with UC Davis taking a 4-0 win in Davis.
• In 2005, Denver topped the Aggies 2-1 on Sept. 18 in Davis... The teams also faced off in Denver on Sept. 4, 1993 with UC Davis taking a 2-1 victory.

Omar Zeenni made three saves in his second straight shutout to hold CSU Bakersfield to a double overtime scoreless draw on Monday at Main Field in Bakersfield.
• UC Davis recorded 11 shots, just two of which were on frame, while also winning five corner kicks.

• UC Davis is carrying a two-game unbeaten streak into the weekend as the Aggies are 1-0-1 to start 2012.
• The Aggies have also registered two shutouts to start the season and have not allowed a goal in 200 minutes of action.
• The last time UC Davis was unbeaten to start the season was in 2005... The Aggies went 3-0-1 in their first four games.
• UC Davis last shut out its first two opponents of the year in 2000, topping Fresno Pacific 3-0 and West Washington 2-0 before going on to win four games in a row.

• UC Davis closes out a four-game homestand on Sept. 6 at San Francisco... Kick off is set for 7 p.m.
• The Aggies then return home to host UCF on Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. at Aggie Soccer Field.
