• Head coach Erik Visser enters his 12th season with USF... A defender for the Dons, Visser is now entering his fourth decade as part of the USF coaching staff.

ALL-TIME AGAINST SAN FRANCISCO
• Since the 1990 season, UC Davis and USF have met on just one other occasion.
• In the 2004 season opener, the Dons claimed a 2-1 victory on Sept. 2 at Negoesco Stadium.

ZEENNI NAMED BIG WEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
• Junior goalkeeper Omar Zeenni earned his fourth career Big West Defensive Player of the Week honor after leading UC Davis to three straight draws last week.
• Zeenni logged 330 minutes in goal, playing in three consecutive double overtime games, but allowed just one goal.
• He held a 358-minute scoreless streak until Denver scored in the 48th minute on Sunday... He owns shutouts against UNLV, 17th-ranked CSUB and Air Force.
• Zeenni faced a combined 51 shots from CSU Bakersfield, Air Force and Denver and made 14 total saves during the three games.

UC DAVIS 1, DENVER 1 (SEPT. 2)
Pat Reese scored his first career goal, putting away the equalizer in the 74th minute, while Omar Zeenni recorded six saves in Sunday's 1-1 tie with Denver.
• Denver's goal was the first allowed goal by the Aggies, breaking a 358-minute scoreless streak.
Ryan Gross assisted on the goal, crossing in a ball from the right side which Reese flicked across his body and inside the left post.

UC DAVIS 0, AIR FORCE 0 (AUG. 31)
Omar Zeenni and the UC Davis defense shut out its third straight opponent after holding Air Force to a scoreless draw on Friday.
• Led by Brian Ford and Ramon Martin Del Campo, the Aggie defense warded off 17 shots from the Falcons, 11 of which came in the second half.

OFF TO A HOT START
• UC Davis remains unbeaten on the season with a 1-0-3 record and has allowed just one goal all year.
• The Aggies had held opponents scoreless for 358 minutes until Denver scored in the 48th minute on Sunday.
• UC Davis owns three shutouts to start the season, holding UNLV, CSU Bakersfield and Air Force scoreless.
• The four-game unbeaten streak matches that of the 2005 season in which UC Davis went 3-0-1 in its first four games.

THE TYING GAME
• With three ties to start the 2012 season, UC Davis has set a program record for consecutive ties.
• The UC Davis record for consecutive ties was two which has happened twice in program history... The Aggies last tied two games in a row during the 2003 season.
• The Aggies are also on pace to break a single-season mark for most ties in a season... The record currently stands at four from the 2011, 2008 and 2003 seasons.

HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF?
• The 2011 season featured 11 overtime games which tied an NCAA Div. I record... With three consecutive OT games in 2012 and 15 games left in the season, UC Davis could match or surpass that mark this year.
• UC Davis played over 136 minutes of OT in 2011 which equates to an entire regulation game plus 46 minutes.
• If Thursday's match goes into overtime, UC Davis will tie a program record for consecutive OT games... The current record stands at four.

GOAL GETTERS
• With just two goals on the season, UC Davis is looking to generate some offense before the start of Big West play.
Alex Aguiar and Pat Reese are the lone Aggie goal scorers in the 2012 season... Aguiar scored the game-winning goal in the Aug. 24 victory over UNLV while Reese's goal against Denver tied the game at 1-1.
• Sacramento State is the only other team in the Big West who has also scored just two goals to start the 2012 season.
• Cal Poly and Cal State Fullerton, however, have each scored just three goals.

PUNCHING THE CLOCK
• UC Davis has logged 420 minutes of action in 2012 and three players have played in every single minute: defenders Brian Ford and Ramon Martin Del Campo and goalkeeper Omar Zeenni.
• Additionally, freshman defender Ryan Gross has played 418 minutes while junior Alex Henry has played 400 minutes.

COMING UP NEXT
• The Aggies return home to host UCF on Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. at Aggie Soccer Field as part of a doubleheader with the women's team.
• UC Davis will then travel to the SMU Classic in Dallas to face Tulsa (Sept. 14) and SMU (Sept. 16).
