UC DAVIS KICKS OFF HOMESTAND
The UC Davis men's soccer team kicks off a three-game homestand, hosting Big West Conference foes UC Riverside and Cal State Fullerton at Aggie Soccer Field.
The Aggies face off against the Highlanders on Friday at 4 p.m.
The Titans arrive in Davis for a 3 p.m. kickoff on Sunday.

SCOUTING UC RIVERSIDE
UC Riverside is ranked 26th nationally by College Soccer News and are receiving votes in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Div. I Men's poll.
UC Riverside is 5-0 in road games in the 2012 season after jumping out to a 7-0 record to start the year... The first loss of the year came on Sept. 23 against CSU Bakersfield.
The Highlanders are led by junior Aaron Long's four goals, one assist and nine points.
UC Riverside tied a Div. I program record with 28 goals in 2011... Through 10 matches in 2012, the Highlanders have scored 24 goals.
Freshman goalkeeper Ashkan Khoskravi has recorded 37 saves in 10 matches for a 1.12 goals against average.
ALL-TIME AGAINST UC RIVERSIDE
Since first meeting in the 2004 season, UC Davis is 10-4 overall against UC Riverside.
UC Davis is undefeated against UC Riverside at Aggie Soccer Field with a perfect 7-0 mark.
SCOUTING CAL STATE FULLERTON
Cal State Fullerton opened Big West play with a 2-0 loss at Cal Poly, but held third-ranked UC Santa Barbara to a double overtime scoreless draw.
Jesse Escalante is the Titans' leading scorer with six goals, including a five-match scoring streak.
Junior goalkeeper Robbie Hannon made his second career start for Cal State Fullerton against No. 3 UCSB, holding the Gauchos scoreless while making five saves... He is a transfer from Div. II Lynn University.
Redshirt freshman Adam Zepeda has made 44 saves, including nine against San Diego on Sept. 23.
ALL-TIME AGAINST CAL STATE FULLERTON
The Titans hold a 6-4-3 series lead after battling to a 1-1 draw last season.
Cal State Fullerton also owns a slim 3-2-2 advantage in games at Aggie Soccer Field... The Titans have not lost in Davis since the 2007 season.
UC DAVIS 3, UC IRVINE 1 (SEPT. 30)
Alex Aguiar, Pat Reese and Kevin Schulte each scored for UC Davis in a 3-1 win at UC Irvine on Sept. 30.
Aguiar and Reese each put away goals in the first half before Schulte tacked on a 47th minute score.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Aggies.
CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE 2, UC DAVIS 0 (SEPT. 28)
UC Davis opened the Big West Conference slate with a 2-0 loss at Cal State Northridge on Sept. 28.
Alex Aguiar led UC Davis offensively with four shots.
Omar Zeenni made five saves.
HOME SWEET HOME
UC Davis' three game homestand is the longest of the season as the Aggies host UC Riverside (Oct. 5), Cal State Fullerton (Oct. 7) and UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 13) at Aggie Soccer Field.
UC Davis has played only three home games in 2012 are a 1-2 on their home turf.
The Aggies have played over twice as many road games and 2-2-4 away from Davis.
