FIRST-PLACE AGGIES TRAVEL TO UCSB
The UC Davis men's soccer team begins the second half of North Division play on Sunday with a 2 p.m. matchup against UC Santa Barbara at Harder Stadium.

SCOUTING UC SANTA BARBARA (9-3-3, 3-3-1 BIG WEST)
UC Santa Barbara has lost three of its last four matches and are ranked 25th by the NSCAA.
Senior Nic Ryan scored his team-leading eighth goal of the season in UCSB's last match against Cal Poly... He leads the team in points (17) and game-winning goals (4)... Five of his eight goals have come during Big West play.
Goalkeeper Austin Mansker ranks 26th nationally with a .777 goals against average... That also ranks him No. 1 in the Big West.
The Gauchos will play a nonconference game against Stanford on Friday before hosting UC Davis on Sunday.
ALL-TIME AGAINST UC SANTA BARBARA
UC Davis' 1-0 win over UC Santa Barbara on Oct. 13 marked just the third time in program history that the Aggies have defeated the Gauchos.
UC Davis is now 3-12-2 all time against UCSB.
The Aggies have never defeated the Gauchos twice in a single season... In 2008, UC Davis claimed a 2-0 victory at Harder Stadium on Oct. 11 before tying the Gauchos in Davis on Nov. 8.
UC DAVIS 3, SACRAMENTO STATE 1 (OCT. 20)
UC Davis scored three goals in a 19-minute span and outshot Sacramento State 16-0 in the second half to claim a 3-1 win at Hornet Field on Oct. 20.
Brian Ford, Eric Budniewski and John Joslin each scored goals for the Aggies.
The Aggies also won nine corner kicks while giving up just one to the Hornets.
THE WILD, WILD BIG WEST
With last weekend's win UC Davis is now in first place in the North Division with 15 points.
The Aggies are followed closely by Cal Poly and Sacramento State who are tied with 13 points... The Mutangs and Hornets face off on Saturday.
UC Santa Barbara is in fourth in the division with 10 points.
Cal State Northridge has already wrapped up a berth to the conference tournament... With 15 points, the Matadors can clinch the South Division title with a win or a tie against UC Riverside on Saturday.
The top two teams in each division advance to the Big West Conference Tournament.
UC Davis has won five of its last six games after turning up the offensive intensity.
Over the last six games, UC Davis has outshot its opponents 90-53 and outscored opponents by a 9-4 margin.
The Aggies have also won 37 corner kicks while giving up just 23 to opponents over the last six games.
TOTAL TEAM EFFORT
UC Davis' 17 goals have been scored by nine different players... Alex Aguiar, Kevin Schulte and Pat Reese have scored three goals apiece.
Additionally, the 13 assists come from eight different players... Ryan Gross and Alex Henry each have three.
