2015-16: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM DOUBLES... BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE... Finished 17-13 overall in singles and 12-8 in dual matches, playing at the No. 2, 3, and 4, spots in the lineup... Played mainly at the No. 3 spot in the lineup, posting an 8-8 record... Finished 2-3 against Big West opponents... Finished 16-12 in doubles play, including an 11-5 mark at the No. 2 spot in the lineup with four different opponents... Posted a 6-5 record alongside teammate Eli Whittle... Won 11 consecutive singles contests from Jan. 31-April 2, including a trio of contests in three sets... Named the Big West Athlete of the Week on Feb. 10 for the second time in his career, posting a perfect 7-0 combined record in singles and doubles following a trio of straight-set singles wins and a 4-0 mark in doubles.
2014-15: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM DOUBLES... Finished 17-12 overall and 10-6 in dual matches during singles play... Compiled a 9-6 mark as the Aggies' No. 3 player and won his only match at No. 4... Was a combined 17-14 in doubles, teaming with Bryce McKelvie to go 6-6 in duals (9-7 overall) at the No. 2 spot to earn all-conference honors... Won seven straight singles contests from Jan. 31-March 15, including wins over opponents from nationally ranked Santa Clara and Rice... Named the Big West Player of the Week on Feb. 25 following singles wins over San Francisco and Nevada... Advanced to the singles semifinals of the UCSB Classic during the fall before falling in the third-place match.
2013-14: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM DOUBLES... Finished his second season with the Aggies with a 25-11 overall record and a 15-7 mark in dual match singles competition... Ranked second in the Big West Conference in overall wins and tied for second in the league in dual match victories... Played at five different positions in the singles line up, mostly at the No. 3 (6-2) and No. 4 (6-3) positions... Ranked second on the team in overall victories and tied for second in dual matches... The 25 overall wins rank third on the school's single season list dating back to the 1996-97 season, while the 15 dual match victories are tied for second in that same span... Won seven straight singles matches at one point (one match unfinished) from March 9-30... Combined for a 15-13 record in doubles with four different partners, including a 10-7 mark in dual matches... Spent most of the season at the No. 3 spot in the doubles lineup, finishing 8-4 with partner Adam Luba... Was also 1-0 with teammate Kyle Miller, 1-3 with James Wade, and 1-1 with Alec Adamson.
2012-13: Finished his freshman season with an 11-10 overall record, all earned in dual matches... Split his two matches played at No. 3 singles and won 10 of 19 at No. 4... Compiled a 7-8 mark in doubles action alongside George Horowitz, all earned as the Aggies' No. 3 duo... Won all three doubles matches played with Parker Kelley, including both Big West contests... Emerged victorious in seven of 10 singles events at one point of the season... Ended his season with three straight doubles victories, concluding with a 9-8 decision against Pacific at the Big West Championships (4/25).
DEL ORO HS '12: Led team to 2012 CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section championship while winning the individual singles title after finishing as runner-up in 2011... Also captured the 2010 singles title and helped Del Oro HS to the 2009 team championship... Earned All-League and All-Section first team accolades for the 2009 season after posting a 14-1 record as a freshman... Ranked No. 3 in NorCal Boys 18s by the USTA and was ranked tenth in Calif. while also earning a No. 58 national ranking.
PERSONAL: Parents are Cris and Kathleen... Father Cris played tennis at UC Santa Cruz... Has two sisters, Bryn and Abby... Served six terms in his high school's leadership program including Junior Class President as well as ASB President... Would like to pursue a career as an aerospace and mechanical engineer.
